"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. We should ever be watchful about the things that we say to each other for words can cut one to the quick, and the damage lasts longer than any broken bone.
There are few things in this world that bother me as much as the foolish words we toss out at others without thinking. The hurt we inflict and often never know. Please, can't we just love each other more. Be kinder. Softer in our approach. Gentler in our thoughts towards each other.
And, IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY....
